International Bomber Command Centre

The International Bomber Command Centre tells the human stories of those affected by the missions of Bomber Command during the Second World War. Presented in both traditional and leading-edge digital exhibits, they engage and challenge, helping us to understand more of our heritage and the scale of the impact on military and civilian populations on all sides. Stunning views of Lincoln Cathedral help imagine the experiences of aircrews for whom the cathedral was often their last sight of Britain or a welcome navigational point on their return. A visit provokes an inspirational, engaging experience of remembrance, recognition and reconciliation.
