Watercress Line Heritage Railway Trust

The Watercress Line Heritage Railway Trust is an inspiring place to learn. The experienced education officer enables children to study national curriculum related topics whether riding on a magnificent period steam train or visiting any of four conserved stations.  WWII evacuation is brought to life by a journey and informative workshops; archival photos show the history of the local area in Victorian times. Railway repair workshops provide information for STEM learning and knowledgeable volunteers give a warm welcome. Children are enthralled by the experience of the railway; it is an unforgettable visit.
