Clifton Suspension Bridge Museum
The Clifton Suspension Bridge has spanned the Avon Gorge for over 160 years and is a universally recognised symbol of the city of Bristol. A small, highly professional and committed museum learning team delivers a programme of excellent quality with a particular emphasis on STEM National Curriculum subjects, as well the Bridge’s local and national historic context. Fun and interactive workshops and fascinating behind-the-scenes tours give pupils and teachers a unique set of experiences, including exploring the Bridge’s long-hidden underground vaults. Learners are inspired and excited to participate in a range of activities which tell the stories of this Grade 1 historic structure and museum.
