The National Archives

The National Archives at Kew are where pupils can see and handle real documents made by real people going back 1000 years. English and international history is studied through maps, drawings, wills, censuses, illustrations and many more. Working on site or online, the first-class educators use a huge store of information to skilfully teach the National curriculum in many subjects at primary, secondary, GCSE or A level. The Domesday Book or Henry Vlll's will are just two documents of a magnificent collection. It is intellectually stimulating and teaches pupils to analyse and think. Not to be missed.
